Experienced Pilots. Professional Standards.

At ClearHorizon Aerial Solutions, we believe the capability of a drone operation comes down to far more than the aircraft being flown. The training, judgement and experience of the pilot behind the controls are just as important.

Our pilots are trained for professional RPAS operations and operate to the standards required for complex commercial environments. This includes advanced flight operations, mission planning, airspace awareness, risk assessment, weather evaluation and safe operating procedures.

Where projects require specialised equipment or more complex operating environments, our pilots undertake additional training to ensure they have the practical knowledge needed to operate safely and effectively.

Training and Qualifications

Our flight crews hold recognised Transport Canada RPAS qualifications and undertake ongoing professional training to maintain and expand their operational capabilities.

ClearHorizon also works closely with Veterans Elite Drone Training Services (VEdTS), providing access to advanced and industrial drone training designed around real-world commercial applications.

This means our pilots are not simply trained to pass a flight review. Their training extends into the practical planning, decision-making and operational disciplines required for professional drone work.

Safety Starts Before Take-Off

Every successful flight begins on the ground.

Before an aircraft is launched, our pilots assess the operating environment, airspace, weather, nearby hazards and the requirements of the project. Appropriate operating procedures and controls are then established before work begins.

This structured approach allows our crews to operate confidently around commercial properties, infrastructure and other complex environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and professionalism.

More Than a Drone Operator

Modern drone technology is extremely capable, but technology alone does not deliver a successful project. It takes a trained operator who understands the aircraft, the operating environment and the objective of the job. That is the standard we expect from every ClearHorizon flight.
